Norfolk has been selected to partner for the Routes to Community Success programme by the National Youth Agency.

Through a youth-led approach, this project looks to improve the quality of local youth work services across Norfolk. This will be achieved by employing our youth ambassadors at various youth services across the Breckland and West Norfolk areas, to speak with young people and identify gaps in support. This aims to be a collaborative initiative, as we look to engage with other youth providers to collect meaningful data and information on the youth work landscape in Norfolk.

Youth ambassadors will benefit from training to build their skills in areas such as youth participation, and play an active role in helping improve the quality of local youth work services.

Our youth ambassadors will gain a multitude of benefits from this opportunity including:

  • In-person training
  • Mentoring
  • Peer support
  • Experience working in Youth Work services
  • Skills in surveying

We are currently recruiting for a Community Lead, a paid position responsible for coordinating our Youth Ambassadors and the Routes to Community Success project. If you are interested in learning more about the role, please get in touch with our Youth Work Operations Manager: [email protected]
