We provide childcare to children in a safe, supportive environment which gives their parents peace of mind. Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in February 2023, Ditchingham Day Nursery is our full day care service in South Norfolk near Bungay. We cover all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage with activities planned around the interests of the children.
Children learn and develop through fun, play based experiences in an environment designed around an extension of your home. We provide natural, neutral rooms with natural light which provides a calm, tranquil environment for children to learn and feel relaxed. We provide a range of natural resources which offer children a selection of loose parts and textures to explore and investigate.
We aim to create an environment which nurtures all children. Our rooms within the nursery offer invitations to learn which inspire a child’s curiosity. Through our mindful practitioners we promote personal and emotional development to ensure children feel at ease and confident. We also run regular Forest School sessions, where we help promote children’s holistic development and help them build a connection with nature, communities and each other.
The Curiosity Approach is an accreditation that we are working towards. This is a modern day approach that fits perfectly into current changing technological times, bringing curiosity, awe and wonder into early childhood and creating the ‘thinkers and doers of the future’.
We offer care for children from 0 to 4 years. We are open all year round and offer session times as follows:
- 8am to 1pm
- 1pm to 6pm
- 8am to 6pm
- 8.30am to 3.30pm (3 to 4 year olds )
We accept 2 and 3 year universal funding along with the childcare 30 hour funding. We are able to offer term time only or all year round places.
