We want to end youth homelessness and we’re tackling the problem locally by providing a home and support to over 100 vulnerable young people in Norfolk and Suffolk every night. We give them a stable home and the skills they need so they can leave us and forge an independent life.

Our Job Coach, Sharon supports, encourages and explores options to assist the young people we support into employment, education or training. She works with all young people accessing the housing services we deliver in Norfolk and Suffolk. Through End Youth Homelessness, the role of the Job Coach is funded by kind donations from individuals via a BBC appeal, Churchill, MVK, H&M, Eversheds.

With good knowledge of what colleges and providers are able to offer our young people in the county and beyond, Sharon works on both a one-to-one basis or with groups of young people. Her aim being to look at bespoke provisions and be creative about how we engage our young people.
In 2017/18 127 young people successfully moved into employment, education and training, and 48 qualifications were achieved.
Doors have opened for me to improve my general quality of life and improve my chances of a stable career.
