We believe that no young person in Norfolk and Suffolk should go without the help they need in order to lead safe, supported and happy lives.

For over 25 years, we have been supporting children, young people and families in Norfolk who may not have had the best start in life. In 2018, we began delivering services in Suffolk too.

A gift in your will could ensure that vulnerable children and young people continue to receive the right help at the right time long into the future. With your support, they can live safely, receive practical and emotional support, and can access new opportunities to create bright futures for years to come.

  • £1,000 can fund a 12 week counselling programme for 2 of the residents of our supported accommodation to help address childhood trauma and build resilience as they move forward as independent, strong and engaged young adults.
  • £10,000 can pay for 100 or more Young Carers to experience a stay at an activity centre where they can make new friends, complete a series of outdoor physical challenges while having a proper break from caring responsibilities at home.
  • £25,000 can pay for 625 hours of one-to-one practical and emotional support to help young people to build resilience, self-esteem and develop career and employment prospects.

Smaller gifts and specific gifts, such as furniture, are also welcome. Whatever the size of your gift, you could help the vulnerable young people of the future.

The help from the charity’s supporters is amazing – the people and companies who help us. I’ve now been able to make the best of things and my confidence has increased ten-fold, as has my patience. My self-esteem and mental health have also improved. The key is that I needed help and I got it.” (Lewis – we’ve changed his name – age 21)

After you have taken care of your family and friends, a gift in your will could help young people in Norfolk and Suffolk, like Lewis, to finally feel safe and supported in years to come. It’s a wonderful gift for future generations.

“I don’t have any family of my own and so wanted to make sure that, when I die, some good would come of the money I have worked so hard for. Leaving some money to The Benjamin Foundation will enable them to continue the great work they do in helping to create opportunities for young people in the area, provide some stability and develop skills that will set them up for life.” (Name protected)
