Housing & Homelessness

Homelessness is a stubborn problem across the UK. Lack of social housing, high house prices, steep rental and other living costs mean many are struggling to find and maintain a home of their own. The situation for young people is especially tough. Family breakdown remains the number one cause of youth homelessness. Provision of supported accommodation and supported lodgings is of vital importance.

The Benjamin Foundation is a core member of Every Youth, a national partnership of charities dedicated to ending youth homelessness. We provide a wide range of housing options for those aged 16 to 30, from 24/7 supported accommodation through to affordable move on housing, plus various specialist services. A range of extras are also on offer, including education and employment support, mental health support and Tenancy Transition Support.Â
