Sleep Out 2017

Would you step out of your comfort zone?

Norwich: Friday 17th November

Places still available - please contact 07825 130003

If you want to take yourself out of your comfort zone in support of a local charity - this is the event for you!

We are inviting individuals and businesses to join Sleep Out 2017 and spend one night sleeping outside at our organised events in Norwich and Ipswich to raise money and awareness of the issue of youth homelessness.

This is the third year of our Sleep Out events and the money raised will help to support our work locally.

The event is not meant to be a comparison to the life a homeless person leads, and it will never replicate the hardship faced by those who are homeless, however, we want the event to bring to life the challenges of sleeping outside.

This year, we are holding two Sleep Out events - one each in Norwich and Ipswich. This reflects that in 2016 we started delivering homelessness work in Ipswich and elsewhere in Suffolk, in addition to our work in Norwich and around Norfolk.

Why A Sleep Out?

We are part of the national End Youth Homelessness campaign, alongside other charities who also support homeless young people between the ages of 16 and 25.

For more details on the events around the country click here

Homelessness is one of the key areas of our work and, at any one time, we provide a home and support to over 100 young people in Norfolk and Suffolk.

Each November, all the charities in the End Youth Homelessness campaign organise their own Sleep Out events to highlight the issue and raise money to provide extra support to the people affected.

Those who took part in last year's Sleep Out event have told us that it gave them a better appreciation of the hardships faced.
