Job Coach

Our Job Coach equips young people supported by our housing services with the confidence, ambition, skills and experience needed to secure work that enables independent living.

The disruption caused by unstable home lives and temporary living conditions can mean that many quit school or college and attain far fewer qualifications than the average young person. With few qualifications and often little work experience, securing paid employment can be out of reach for young people at risk of homelessness. Our experience shows coaching and support can make a very big difference on this front and we know that supporting young people into training and employment is as important as helping them to find a place to call home, because they’ve told us so.
