Affordable Accommodation - Future builders

Newly refurbished properties are offered as affordable accommodation to young people who are vulnerably housed or have been affected by homelessness. 

Launched in September 2019, in partnership with EveryYouth, Nova Training, Victory Housing, Gasway, RTB Roofing & Building Ltd and funded by The Ovo Foundation, the ‘Future Builders’ project provided young people with the opportunity to learn construction skills as they worked on renovating two homes in North Walsham, Norfolk – at the same time, giving them the training they needed to gain an apprenticeship or full-time work.

Upon completion of the work, the newly-refurbished properties became available and offered supported, affordable accommodation to young people in the area, who were vulnerably housed or had been affected by homelessness.

So, if you are looking for local, affordable housing in North Walsham and are:

• Aged 18-25
• In full-time education, training or employment
• Would benefit from learning independent living skills such as budgeting, cooking etc.
• Would like support with finding further training and/or new employment opportunities
