Inflatable 5k Fun at Fine & Country
Local Estate Agent, Fine & Country, put on their running shoes and took part in an Inflatable 5k fun run in support of The Benjamin Foundation and their Tenancy Transition Service.
The charity’s Tenancy Transition Service and the accompanying Rent Deposit Scheme help young people aged 18-25 by providing financial aid for rent deposit or rent in-advance. Last year, the Rent Deposit Scheme supported 72 young people, with more than £10,000 invested into helping them take the next steps to independent living.
With support from The Benjamin Foundation, one young person was able to access essential household items through the Client Hardship Fund, including a washing machine and fridge freezer, as well as an Argos voucher funded by TBF’s Move on Grant to help furnish her home. This support, along with some guidance on budgeting, helped her manage her bills responsibly and avoid falling into arrears.

Fine & Country have been an enthusiastic supporter of the Tenancy Transition Project and have raised over £42,000 for The Benjamin Foundation since 2021. In their latest efforts, 50 members of the Fine & Country community took part in the Inflatable 5k race which involved hurtling over various obstacles around a 5 kilometre track at the Norfolk Showground.
Limited affordable accommodation and access to social housing means the Tenancy Transition Service is needed more than ever and all at the charity are grateful for the £3,000+ raised by Fine & Country from their day in the fun!
