Fine & Country raise £42,000 in support of The Benjamin Foundation

Estate agents Fine & Country complete their latest donation to The Benjamin Foundation, amounting their total contribution to £42,000 across three years.

Since 2023, The Benjamin Foundation have received support from Fine & Country in Norwich, Beccles, Diss and Fakenham in the form of a series of donations. The latest of these provide support for the charity’s Tenancy Transition Service, focused on helping young people to gain access to the private rented sector or move into social housing. With recent support from Fine & Country, this can be achieved by providing financial aid for rent deposits or rent-in-advance to help overcome financial barriers.

This scheme also offers further support from prospective tenants by helping to liaise with landlords and letting agents, helping young people to understand budgets and more.

Manager of the Tenancy Transition Service, Anne, said “I’d like to thank Fine and Country for their generous support in helping vulnerable young people make that important first move into secure and independent housing. Through helping to fund the Rent Deposit Scheme, Fine and Country are making such a difference in enabling young people to access rented housing, as a sizeable deposit is almost always required and can be a real barrier to young people securing their first tenancy.”

The positive outcomes achieved by the Tenancy Transition Service share Fine & Country Foundation’s own aims, raising awareness and funds to combat homelessness. Supporting charities such as The Benjamin Foundation, they have raised over £900,000 to date, through several grant and donation initiatives.

We are honored to have the support of local Fine & Country branches across Norfolk and Suffolk over the past few years, and appreciative of their continued positive impact on our work.
