Our Heart and Home service supports young people between the ages of 16 and 18 by offering a bedroom and support through a network of hosts, providing stability and a safe place to live. As a result of the incredible efforts of our service, we were pleased to be nominated for the award in the safe and secure category for outstanding contribution in supporting children and young people to understand and engage in healthy, safe relationships.

It was a wonderful celebration of all the outstanding work undertaken in the county, supporting children and young people to Flourish. I felt honoured to be a part of the evening, and for Heart and Home to be selected as finalists in the Safe and Secure category. It is a real testament to the hard work of our amazing team of staff and hosts, but also the amazing young people we work with weekly who just need a safe, secure base to successfully transition into adulthood and realise their full potential.
