Vibrant colours, noisy shakers and smiling faces expected at the upcoming Lord Mayor’s Weekend!
On Saturday 13th July, we will be celebrating Boom Young Carers – The Benjamin Foundation, our support service for young carers across Norfolk, providing positive activities positive activities for young people who have limited opportunities!
As the Lord Mayor’s Charity of the Year, all money raised from the procession will be going towards our Boom! Young Carers service, as we make lots of noise and show off our wonderful costumes through the streets of Norwich!
We look forward to integrating vibrant colours into our costumes and are grateful for the support of Vincent Burch Mortgage Services, who have made a generous contribution to helping us achieve this, promoting unity amongst our community of staff and young people who will be taking part.
The colourful carnival parade will head out from Norwich Cathedral at 3pm through the streets towards Chapelfield Gardens for a full programme of family-friendly activities. You can also find our stall in Chapelfield Gardens from 12pm to learn more about the work of Boom! Young Carers and how we support young carers across Norfolk. If you are watching the procession, visiting later in the day for a whole host of activities, or just in the Norwich area, come and say hello!
