On Monday 10th December, our very first accommodation centre, Winston Court in North Walsham, celebrated turning 21 so we held a special event for staff and residents past and present, trustees and supporters to mark the occasion.
The afternoon was spent catching up, sharing memories and enjoying a buffet and fabulous Benjamin Foundation butterfly cake!
Wayne Miles, Operations Manager, says: “It was an overwhelming and quite emotional afternoon. We had lots of ex-residents turn up, some with their children – some were from 20 years ago and some very recent, so there was a nice mix.
It was also great to see the founders of our charity, Richard and Vanessa Draper and lots of other familiar faces. It’s hard to comprehend that over the last 21 years, Winston Court has accommodated 330 young people and the impact that it has had on their lives. Thanks to everyone that came along and celebrated with us.”
Happy Birthday Winston Court!
