Mon - Sat 9am - 4pm, Sun 10am - 4pm (October to March) Mon - Sat 9am - 5pm, Sun 10am -4pm (April to September)

Now open seven days a week! Donations can now be made directly at the shop.

In partnership with Suffolk County Council and FCC Environment we operate a Re-use shop based at Bury St Edmunds Recycling Centre.

All items are checked and tested by our shop staff and only suitable items are sold in the shop. There’s a wide range of items for sale, including:

Electrical items
Furniture
Children’s Toys
Prams/highchairs and other baby and toddler items
Sports Equipment
CD’s, DVD’s and books
Bicycles
DIY and garden tools

Following the pandemic, we continue to have some measures in place, including:

  • 2 metre social distancing is encouraged
  • A one-way system is in place
  • Hand sanitising facilities are available
  • Payment by card is encouraged

Direct donations can also be made at Recycling Centres across Suffolk. An appointment is required via Suffolk County Council here. (No appointment is required to visit the Re-use Shop)

In partnership with Suffolk County Council and FCC Environment, the Bury St Edmunds Re-use Shop sells a wide range of items, such as furniture, bikes, tools, bric a brac and small electrical item.

We take in donated items and the profits we make by selling them helps to fund our other work for children, families and adults who need our help. Please contact us about any items you wish to donate.
