We want to end youth homelessness and we’re tackling the problem locally by providing a home and support to 180 young people in Norfolk and Suffolk every night. We give them a stable home and the skills they need so they can leave us and forge an independent life.

Walmington Court is our supported accommodation centre in Thetford for young single homeless people aged 16 to 25. We manage the centre in partnership with Flagship Housing Association and Breckland District Council.

We offer support and personal development to enable residents to achieve their full potential and a greater level of independence. Walmington Court offers eight studio flats and three two bedroom shared flats along with a communal lounge and kitchen.

A comprehensive support programme is implemented for each young person, tailored to help them grow in confidence and learn the life skills required to live independently.

We work closely with Breckland District Council and Flagship Housing Association to ensure that all residents, where appropriate, move on to secure and affordable accommodation. We also offer ongoing tenancy support at the move-on level to ensure the transition to full independence is as smooth as possible. The project is part-funded by Supporting People.
