We want to end youth homelessness and we’re tackling the problem locally by providing a home and support to over 100 vulnerable young people in Norfolk and Suffolk every night. We give them a stable home and the skills they need so they can leave us and forge an independent life.
Linden House provides a safe home and support for young people aged 16-18. There are four fully furnished bedrooms in the main house, each with their own bathroom. There is also a main kitchen, lounge and conservatory/dining room that everyone shares.
Each young person has their own key worker – a qualified and experienced member of staff who will work with them and their Social Worker to agree and support them on the areas of their life they would like to focus on improving. Staff are on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to support the young people and to help them gain the skills they need, such as cooking, shopping and budgeting money, so they can leave us and forge an independent life.
Next door to Linden House, there is a more independent flat attached to the main house where one young person at a time can live and prepare for their own independent place.
