Thank you once again to our supporters, Pruce Newman. As part of their year of support for our charity, the specialist pipework contractor’s latest fundraising activity was an evening of music with The Silver Bee Band – a group put together by the business especially for the event to add to their growing fundraising total.

With around 100 people attending Spixworth Social Club on Saturday 11th May, The Silver Bee Band delighted the audience with a variety of songs. The addition of a burger and ice cream van and a raffle added to the enjoyment of the evening, which has raised over £1,800. A special thank you to everyone who attended and to Pruce Newman’s Ange Gare for organising the event.

Pruce Newman’s previous fundraising events for our charity include a Zumbathon, quiz night and a karting event – all of which have been well supported.

Chris Elliott, Marketing and Fundraising Manager at The Benjamin Foundation says:

“We can’t thank Pruce Newman enough for their continued fundraising efforts this year to support our charity, with the latest being a super evening of music thanks to The Silver Bee Band.  The money raised will help our charity to bring hope, opportunity, stability and independence to local children, young people and families who are going through difficult times.”

It's a way for them to feel listened to when in other settings they may not be, through no fault of their own. We empower our young people and as a result we create stronger individuals.
