My Job
Having joined The Benjamin Foundation in 2010, my job role has developed into the role of Director of Operations Early Help Services. Providing high quality support for children, young people and families at the earliest possible opportunity is really important to us. Our Early Help Services include ‘Time for You’ our social and emotional wellbeing support service providing one to one support in schools across the county, and our Parenting Team who help strengthen family relationships and give practical advice and support.
I work closely with the other Senior Managers to promote the importance of Early Help for children, young people and families. I also have a particular interest in sharing the Nurtured Heart Approach® which I use both professionally and personally.
Personal Profile
My background is in Education Social Work having previously worked for a Local Authority for 12 years in the North West. Having been born and brought up in Norfolk, I returned here in 2010 with my husband and two children to settle in North Norfolk where we enjoy walking, canoeing, camping and chocolate cake!
