I manage our Marketing and Fundraising activity with the core objective of sharing the great work our charity does to build more support. Our website, social and traditional media, key events and fundraising activity all help do this and I am keen to build our base of supporters among individuals, social groups, fundraisers and businesses.
I’ve been in this role since 2013 and since then I have enjoyed sharing the story of the brilliant job my colleagues do to help people in Norfolk and Suffolk who need some support.
I met our charity’s founder, Richard Draper, in 2008 and he’s an inspiring man. We kept in touch and I did some volunteer work for the charity then became a Trustee in 2012, a position I had to give up when I started my current role. My career prior to then was at Aviva where I did a range of marketing and sponsorship roles over more than 20 years.
I’m married and have a son and we live in Norwich. My passions include football, cricket, photography, real ale, coffee and Indian food and I’m a Norwich City season ticket holder.
