Parent Support Advisers

Parenting isn't an easy job and at times things can get extremely tough, but like every parent, you always want what is best for your child. Our Parent Support Advisers are here to help you deal with any worries you may have, whether it be for yourself, your family or your child.

We can't promise to have all of the answers - but our aim is to work out how to find them and then to support you through the process.

The type of support we offer can be:

  • Supporting parents to help your child get the best from school life
  • Offering support when you have meetings with teachers and other professionals
  • Supporting attendance
  • Help in preventing difficult behaviour from becoming more of a problem

PSA's can also help by signposting you to services and other agencies for help with specific problems. We can also help you understand how and what your children learn. We will meet with you either at school or at home, whichever is more convenient, and always at a time that suits you.
