Suffolk Show 2018

We enjoyed a brilliant two days at the Suffolk Show on 30th and 31st May.

The event, organised by the Suffolk Agricultural Association, takes place at the town's Trinity Park each year and attracts thousands of visitors. We were delighted to have a stand at the event to chat to people about the work we do in the county, which includes accommodation centres in Stowmarket and Ipswich, and our network of Heart and Home hosts for the supported lodging service to support our work to prevent youth homelessness.

Our activities for children were pebble painting and a butterfly hunt were very well received with lots of families stopping by to enjoy them.

Our team from Reuse shop Ipswich were also at the show, taking their own area in the Reuse tent with partners Suffolk County Council and FCC Environment.

Events such as this are so important to help us reach out to people to increase awareness of the great work that we do.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to a successful two days, including Ellen Mary Gardening, Brancaster House, teams from our Suffolk services and everyone who stopped by to say hello.
