Take part on Tuesday 2nd January between 10am-8pm!

Local gaming café, Albion Games, are hosting a gaming day offering a special day rate which allows customers to game all day. With a minimum donation for a full day of playing, Albion Games looks to donate 100% of the proceeds and promote awareness of our work amongst the gaming community.

What is The Albion Games Café? A video gaming cafe with a full menu of food and drink with a wide selection of video games, consoles and TVs to play the hours away on! The Albion Games Cafe also has a full range of events from tournaments to community meets, and offers private hire for parties.

Tom, Albion Games Cafe, had this to say about his support of our work:

“Oftentimes, young people can find themselves in disadvantaged or even dangerous situations through no fault of their own, and it’s vital to have an organisation such as The Benjamin Foundation offering a lifeline to these kids. Although the school holidays would normally be the best time for business in our cafe, we’d like to dedicate the final day of the Christmas school holidays towards supporting the foundation. We hope the money raised from this event to produce a real positive outcome for youths in the future.”

The Benjamin Foundation believes that gaming can be used as a platform to raise vital awareness of mental health and youth homelessness, highlighting the social and wellbeing benefits that gaming provides.

Quote Marks Left It’s an eye-opening experience – I can’t imagine having to do this day in, day out. The best thing is seeing so many people taking part.
