We were delighted to once again be the charity which benefited from a special fundraising Grapevine Networking Dinner on Tuesday 1st October.
Organised by our supporters Clapham and Collinge Solicitors, the event took place at Norwich’s Warwick Street Social, who are also keen supporters of our work to bring hope, opportunity, stability and independence to local children, young people and families.
The networking event brought local business people together to enjoy a five course taster menu, which was created and introduced by Head Chef, Lewis Peck and included Pan Roasted Cod, Curried Cauliflower, and Cauliflower Purée, Slow Braised Belly Pork, Duck Fat Potato Terrine, with Red Wine Jus, and Blackberry Panna cotta, with Apple Gel and Apple Crisps.
With a raffle and the opportunity to take part in a silent auction to bid for a weekend at Spicer’s Cottage in Wells-next-the Sea, which was kindly donated by The Globe at Wells to support our fundraising this year, the Grapevine Networking event raised over £900 for our charity.
Louis Hilldrup-Boorman, Marketing Manager at Clapham and Collinge says: “I am proud that we have been able to raise a significant amount for the Benjamin Foundation at our October Grapevine networking event, and give them the opportunity to talk to our guests about the services they offer to young people in Norfolk and Suffolk. A special thanks to the team at Warwick Street Social for hosting this event once again.”
Marketing and Fundraising Manager, Chris Elliott adds: “We are always thankful for the support of local businesses. Clapham and Collinge and Warwick Street Social are both keen supporters of our charity so the Grapevine Networking event was the perfect collaboration in a great venue for a relaxed and enjoyable evening.”
Chris continues: “We hugely appreciate this support and fundraising for The Benjamin Foundation as this means we can continue to support vulnerable young people in Norfolk who need us.”
Thank you once again to Clapham and Collinge and Warwick Street Social for a fabulous event and their continued support of our charity.
