EMR Lenwade offers support to The Benjamin Foundation

The Benjamin Foundation has benefited from a donation given by EMR Lenwade.

For over 25 years The Benjamin Foundation has supported children, young people and families across Norfolk and Suffolk to overcome challenges in their lives. Helping to prevent youth homelessness, improve an individual’s emotional wellbeing, help families build stronger relationships and support young people in finding employment. Our charity provides services which are driven by the needs of local people to improve their opportunities in life.

The £2,000 donation from EMR will provide educational support for young people, enabling 22 individuals to access online learning opportunities. This will support them in improving their English and Maths skills, something which will not only be beneficial for their personal development but also improve their employment options.

Alastair McCartney, Operations Manager at EMR Lenwade explained why it was important for them to make the donation: “Young people are often faced by obstacles which are out of their control, and have a detrimental impact on their personal and educational development. The Benjamin Foundation offers a vital lifeline in providing young people with a route to educational achievement. With the support of this donation, and the learning resources it will fund, I have no doubt that these young people will go on to find successful careers.”

Rachel Hogg from The Benjamin Foundation added: “Thank you to EMR Lenwade for their support for our charity. This donation will help to provide young people, who may not have had the best start in life with opportunities to build their knowledge, skills and self-esteem to create a better future. We are extremely thankful to EMR Lenwade for helping to change the lives of young people in their local community.”

EMR’s donation was given as part of its Young Futures Reimagined programme which was launched in 2020 and aims to support young people up and down the country to build brighter futures.

We are extremely thankful to EMR group for their support.
