On Thursday 6th June, we were pleased to hold our second annual Butterfly Treasure Hunt. Taking place in Norwich city centre, the fundraising event saw teams solve clues to identify the locations of our charity butterflies in order to solve an anagram. Starting and finishing at the stunning Rooftop Gardens, the event was enjoyed by over 100 people.
The main event sponsors were Clapham and Collinge Solicitors, who welcomed participants on the trail to their office with a glass of Prosecco. There was also a mystery drink to try to guess the ingredients to gain extra points.
Clues were generously sponsored by local businesses: No 8 Thorpe Road, Thrive Networking, Reef Recruitment, Palace Plain Orthodontists, Brancaster House, Face to Face Finance, Made Agency, Norfolk Cottages, Sonkai Jewellers, Urban Jungle, The Healing Voice (Colin McLean) and S Potter Talent. Thank you all for your support.
On their return to Rooftop Gardens, participants enjoyed a BBQ, before hearing from our main sponsors and Ella, a young person who has benefited from the support of our charity. We are hugely grateful to Ella for sharing her story.
The team from Made Agency were announced as the winners for the second consecutive year – congratulations to them!
The event raised almost £4,000 to support local children, young people and families who are going through tough times – we would like to say a huge thank you to everybody who supported it.
