Ben's Workforce is a paid-for service for people in North Norfolk aged over 65 who need someone to do small maintenance and repair jobs around the home. The jobs will be carried out by our team of staff and volunteers all of whom are trained and approved.
How Do I Use The Service?
Call us on 01263 826854 and tell us about the work you'd like us to do. We will discuss it with you and then provide our quote. We'll agree a date when we can do your job.
The aim of this service is to enable older people to retain their independence by living at home for longer. Funding was provided by Norfolk County Council to set this up and our charity was chosen to run it based on our track record of helping around 2,000 people each year through all our other local services.
What type of work can be done?
- Putting up shelves
- Assembling furniture
- Installing pet flaps
- Fitting access ramps
- Installing curtain rails
- Decorating jobs
- Moving heavy furniture
- Fixing dripping taps
Further details can be found on our flyer available to download here.
