We want to end youth homelessness and we’re tackling the problem locally by providing a home and support to 180 young people in Norfolk and Suffolk every night. We give them a stable home and the skills they need so they can leave us and forge an independent life.

Violet Terrace in Stowmarket is one of our supervised accommodation centres for young people aged 16 and 17 years old.

Staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, our team supports a maximum of two young people with a higher level of need and challenging behaviours, who have recently left a children’s home or foster care. Violet Terrace offers them the next positive step in their progression towards independence.

With good facilities and well-furnished throughout, young people staying at Violet Terrace have their own bedroom, with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities.

With an emphasis on communal living to encourage interaction in order to build their social skills and confidence, our staff work closely with each young person in order to build their life skills so they are able to move confidently towards independent living.

Referrals for Violet Terrace are via Suffolk County Council’s Central Resources Team.
