Suffolk Accommodation

In partnership with Suffolk County Council we are delivering supervised and supported accommodation in Suffolk.

The Supervised service is semi-independent supported accommodation for up to two young people (predominantly 16 and 18 year olds) assessed as having high and specialist needs. The overall aim of the service is to provide safe and suitable accommodation and support for young people leaving care in Suffolk and to prepare them for independence.

Each resident has their own bedroom and can share a communal lounge and kitchen with the other residents. Staff will support each resident with school, college work, or to find work, training opportunities and cope with issues in their personal life. Staff will help build confidence and work on living skills to prepare the young person for independence.

When a young person arrives at the house, they are going through one of the most stressful and worrying times in their life. It is vital that the best support is given to them, and this is achieved through a dedicated staff team which provides 24/7 support.

The supported accommodation service is for up to four young people with more independent skills who need less day to day support.  Support is given each day and will be at a level agreed with the young person and their team. This support can be adjusted to meet the needs of each individual in the house and can be up to 24/7 if needed
