Suffolk Accommodation

In partnership with Suffolk County Council we are delivering supervised and supported accommodation in Ipswich and Stowmarket.

Whitton Rise, Ipswich

Having extended our services into Suffolk in 2016, Whitton Rise in Ipswich is one of our supervised accommodation centres for young people aged 16 to 17 years.

Staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, our team supports a maximum of two young people with a higher level of need and challenging behaviours, who have recently left a children's home or foster care. Whitton Rise offers them the next, positive step in their progression towards independence.

With good facilities and well-furnished throughout, Whitton Rise provides young people with their own bedrooms, a shared kitchen and bathroom facilities.  With an emphasis on communal living in order to build their social skills and confidence, our staff work closely with each young person in order to build their life skills so they are able to move confidently towards independent living.

Referrals for Whitton Rise are via Suffolk County Council's Central Resources Team.

Draper House, Ipswich

Draper House in Ipswich is a supervised accommodation centre, staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week for young people with high, specialist needs who require a bespoke support package to support them with the transition from a children's or foster home towards independent living.

Our staff team provide a minimum of 1-to-1 support to help each young person learn important life skills and build their confidence.  They also support each resident with school, college work, or to find work, or training opportunities, as well as coping with issues in their personal life and the challenges which they may encounter.

Draper House provides the young people with their own bedroom, a shared bathroom, and a communal kitchen to encourage social interaction and engagement.  The aim is that by the time they near the age of 18, each young person is better prepared for their future.
