We deliver a range of services to support children, young people and families facing a range of challenges. By helping at an early stage, our work aims to prevent more serious problems arising in the future.
Parenting isn’t an easy job and at times things can get extremely tough. Our Parent Support Advisers are here to help parents to deal with any worries they may have.
We can’t promise to have all of the answers but our aim is to work with parents and families to find them and then to provide support through the process. This could involve supporting parents to help their child get the best from school life, offering support with meetings with teachers and other professionals, supporting school attendance, and help in preventing difficult behaviour from becoming more of a problem.
Parent Support Advisers can also help by signposting to services and other agencies for help with specific problems, and can meet either at school or at home – whichever is more convenient, and always at a time that suits you.
