Tell us about your career
Extensive experience as a senior manager in the NHS retiring in 2007 from the post of Chief Executive of North Norfolk Primary Care Trust. Previous to this worked at Director level in Essex and London, particularly in planning and commissioning new hospital buildings.
Why did you decide to become a Trustee?
Through my job I was aware of, and worked with, The Benjamin Foundation and was impressed with the ethos and culture in supporting families and young people.
Tell us a bit about yourself
I was a Norfolk County Councillor and chair of the Griffon Partnership(an organization associated with regeneration and social activities in North Walsham and 25 surrounding villages.
Interests include St John Ambulance adventure training of young members, gardening, golf, skiing and travel.
I'm married to a retired high school teacher and we live in a village near North Walsham. We have two children both studying at university.
