Bishop's House Garden Open Day - Sunday 10th September 2017

Introduction

The Bishop of Norwich and Mrs Julie James open their beautiful gardens in aid of local charities on selected dates throughout the year and we are delighted to be hosting the open gardens event on Sunday 10th September.

Join us for the final open gardens event of 2017 to explore the magnificent walled gardens at the Bishop's House. Our afternoon will include:

  • 1pm - 5pm:  Refreshments on sale including tea and homemade cakes

  • 1pm - 5pm:  Face painting by Johanna Martin

  • 1.30pm - 2pm:  Norwich Community Choir

  • 2pm - 3pm:  Norwich City Concert Band

  • 3pm - 4pm:  A Gardeners' Question Time hosted by Ellen Mary Gardening and featuring guests from the Royal Horticultural Society, Anglia in Bloom, Richard Beales Roses and Garden Design. 

  • Local chidren's author Doug Vallgren will be reading his stories.

Gardens open 1pm-5pm

Entry £3, under 16s and wheelchair users FREE. 

Guide Dogs only.

Nearest parking is at the pay and display car park near the Adam and Eve pub.
